Owen Wyngrave - Photoshop work

These images show how two actors were transformed into an oil painting. Working from a studio photograph and two copyright cleared paintings I was able to build the image up using various techniques within Photoshop. The final artwork was passed on to Data Reprographics who printed the paintings onto canvas.

Due to a tight schedule five of these were completed in one week. The production was "Owen Wyngrave", a Benjamin Britten opera for Channel 4 and was shown in 2002.

The top three images show the two original paintings and photograph that were started out with, the bottom two show the finished article.
